Ivonne Van Cleef - Rural Unexplainable (A Mixtape By Caleb R.K. Williams)

 Hello friends !

Ivonne Van Cleef "Rural Unexplainable" is available. This is a compilation of IVC tracks that I selected and mixed. I had this idea for a little while in a corner of my head. The soundscape of IVC is incredible, full of details, it is very strong, even atypical, unique. I wanted to travel in my own way through its sound regions.

Tracklist :

- Deep Call
- Dead Telegraph
- Like Bollowing
- Fire Bird
- Cattle Tyrant
- The Bay-Winged Cowbird (side-a)
- The Bay-Winged Cowbird reprise (side-b) + (Unmistakable)
- Friends of D. Rodriguez
- Eighth Tree
- Trino (Sesiones en el Montacargas)
- Outro
- The Sparkly
- QPZZZ491 (Caleb R.K. Williams RMX2)

Piano Works III by Caleb R.K. Williams

Hello friends !

New release with this Piano Works III. Tracks originally composed for a split album that never came to life. When I recorded these few melodies, I wanted to evoke several cities that I had the opportunity to visit during a 6-month roadtrip on the European roads (in 2018). I wanted to make an album out of it, but I gave up the idea and turned it into a simpler release with the "Piano Works". From the first idea I only kept the name "København". But the tracks are really related to some of the cities I discovered. For example "Nocturnal" was originally a "Munich" moment, "Empty The Belief" touches on Vienna, or Cardiff for "Forsaken Mountain".
As with the previous volumes, this 3rd EP is minimalist (here even more) and contemporary, quite far from some of the codes I usually use.

The artwork of this EP is a first for me. It's a collage I made with pictures from old 60s magazines found in my late grandparents' house. It was supposed to be the visual for the split, and I decided to keep it. I like its sober, grey side, with a certain lightness.

Welcome !

Welcome to all!

Here are the first words of this new page dedicated to The Eagle Stone Collective. We will try to share the universe of the Collective through articles, interviews of the people who collaborate to releases, but also of the people who support us. News, texts, stories and more (feel free to share your ideas too!).

Recently (and a few months late), we celebrated the 5th birthday of the Collective. Already 5 years! At the beginning a simple band project, a duo composed of John Scott Gartner and Caleb R.K. Williams, the idea quickly evolved towards a collective format to allow even more freedom, to release itself from a standard broadcasting scheme, and to be able to finally offer a maximum of music. A lot of ideas emerged, most of them came to fruition, others didn't. But these 5 years were amazingly full of creation and exchanges.

It's time to try new things while going on with the releases. This blog is a new extension. We hope to have the energy to feed it, with your help too.

A second Bandcamp page should also see the light in 2021, totally in digital format, in «name your price». In this new space, we will offer once a week (every Monday) "single" releases. Tracks already released, along with remixed or cover versions. Still with the idea of involving even more people. But soon more informations about this subject.

The end of the year is getting closer, and there are still some nice surprises left for your ears.

Take care of you

Caleb
